Convenient location near local attractions and public transport. Affordable pricing for a last-minute stay, especially around the holidays.
Parking situation leaves much to be desired with limited availability, making it a hassle to find a space. The room I had felt dated and in need of fresh decor, with a noticeable smell lingering in the hallway. Cleaning standards could use a boost, as I found areas that clearly hadn't been attended to properly, like dusty surfaces. Overall comfort could be improved, as the bed was not as cozy as I hoped, making sleep a bit of a challenge.

I stayed for one night at Barrons, where I found friendly staff and a lovely carvery dinner. The double room was clean, though it could use a thicker duvet for chilly nights. Despite ongoing updates, I appreciated the cozy atmosphere and would return soon.

The location was quite convenient, just a short walk to the central pier and close to various attractions like the Comedy Carpet and the Grundy Art Gallery. The breakfast was surprisingly good, with a great selection available, and the staff were very accommodating during our stay. They even showed us one of the updated rooms, which looked very modern and comfortable. considering the price, it was a pleasant experience.

unpleasant stay but had potential
The staff members I interacted with were friendly and tried to be accommodating during our stay. The location is conveniently situated near several attractions, which made exploring easy for us. I appreciated the family-friendly atmosphere, making it suitable for families with children.
The overall condition of the hotel was disappointing.

Family with children, a place to crash yet relaxed
We had an amazing experience with the owners here, they really went the extra mile. The breakfast was like a feast, a proper full English that got everyone ready for the day.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but for what we got, I'd say it was still alright.

Family with children paradise
The staff go above and beyond, which made our stay special. I brought my son's emotional support rabbit, and they welcomed him like family, the first time they've ever had one, and it felt like home.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but understanding their ongoing improvements, it was fine.

Total disappointment!
Booked a night for an air show and it was a total letdown. The room was filthy—dirt on the walls, and the lamp shade was caked in grime. The bathroom? Yikes! Paper peeling, questionable cleanliness. We didn't even eat there. I felt uneasy about the kitchen. Breakfast was alright, though, so there’s that. No one seemed to care about our complaints.

We had a fantastic stay, especially since the owners were super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast offered plenty of choices, which our 3 teenagers loved. Being close to all the attractions made our family adventures so much easier and enjoyable.
In my wife's opinion, the rooms were quite dated and could use a refresh.

I enjoyed my stay at Barrons in Blackpool. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The breakfast spread was fantastic with plenty of options available. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room. the effort that went into maintaining it was clear. The location was ideal, only a short walk from the promenade, making it easy to explore the area. the room itself had a few downsides. I found the mattress a bit worn out, which affected my comfort at night. the heating system could use an upgrade as it struggled to keep the room warm during the chilly nights. that, everything else was well up to standard and genuinely enjoyable. I would love to stay again, maybe in a different room next time.

The hosts were super friendly and offered us drinks while we waited for our room to be ready. We loved relaxing by the bar and the breakfast was a pleasant surprise with plenty of tasty choices. Just a heads up, our room had a bit of a chill to it, so a heater was a nice touch! 🍳
